R Mod Booting method.

Please follow carefully.

DVDR

1.Power up the PS2  (with the AR2 V2.0x Disc 1 already inside)

2.When the AR2 disc finishes booting, just press "Eject" and swap the original AR2

disc with the original DVD PS2 disk ( with a really big toc, ex:

GTA / DMC / DOA2 etc ) and then press "Eject" again to close the tray!

3.Wait 10 seconds!

4.Make sure you have the "Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX2" Code selected before you proceed

Select "Start game"

With codes

5.Press X

6.A window with an error message will appear and the original DVD will stop spinning

press eject til the power light changes from green to orange and swap the DVD for the DVDR backup, the tray will close after about 5 sec, wait til the light has changed

back to green & press X to acknowledge the error message.

If you don't want to select codes (cheats) for the backup you want to run, just

skip the next step (*)

(*) Press 'O' the number of times needed to get to the main menu!

After getting to the main menu, press "Action Replay Codes" and select the codes/game

associated to the backup you want to run.

Press the key "Start" on the PS2 Joypad!

Select "Without Codes" or (*) "With Codes" if you selected the codes for your backup.

Press X !

And it boots 

DVDR with the newest action replays V 2.12 & above

1. Power up your PS2 with the action replay 2.12 inside.

2. When AR2 finishes booting just press eject and swap AR2 for a DVD game with realy big TOC, eg GTO, DOA2.

3. Wait 10 seconds.

4. Select action replay cheat codes, and select 4x4 Evolution and press X

5. Now add or remove one of the ticks on the left hand side, this will activate or deactivate that cheat code.

6. Press start on controller.

7. Select Without codes

8. Press X (very important as soon as the updating codes screen comes up press and keep your finger on eject until the light changes to orange, swap your DVD game for a backup DVDR, the tray will automatically close and game will boot.

PS2 CD (Silver or CD-R)

1.Boot AR2/GS2 disc 1.

2.At the main screen select START GAME and then select

WITHOUT CODES.

3.Once the AR2/GS2 is asking to insert the game disk, press the EJECT

button till the light changes from green to orange.

4.The CD tray will now open and you can replace the CD game with your backup copy.

5.The CD tray will automatically close after about 5 seconds.

6.Wait till the the power LED changes from orange to green again and press X now

to start the game.

PS ONE CD (Silver or CD-R)

Boot AR2/GS2 disc 2.

1.At the main screen, select START GAME and then select WITHOUT CODES

2.Once the AR2/GS2 is asking to insert the game disk,

3.press the EJECT button till the light changes from green to orange.

4.The CD tray will now open and you can replace the CD with your backup copy.

5.The CD tray will automatically close after about 5 seconds.

6.Wait till the the power LED changes from orange to green again and press X

now to start the game.
